Jacquelyn Rae “Jackie” Baumhardt, 60, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her residence.
Jackie was born on October 23, 1956 in Springfield the daughter of John Norman “Jack” and Constance Della “Connie” Lloyd Martin. She married James Baumhardt on August 14, 1976.
She worked as manager for the Hope Thrift Center for over 10 years. Prior to that, she ran a home daycare where she cared for and loved many children. She was a member of Calvary Church where she was also in the choir. She loved spending time with her family and decorating. She was very passionate about her love for the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; two nephews; and one niece.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Baumhardt of Springfield; one son, Nicolas Baumhardt of Nashville, TN; three daughters, Ashley Huffstetler of Knoxville, TN, Aubrey Emerson of Bloomington and Aliegh Denton of Nashville, TN; four sisters, Debbie Wright of Pottsboro, TX, Lynn Douple of Ft. Wayne, IN, Jennifer King and Connie Godfrey both of Rochester; two brothers, Tim Martin of Clinton, MS and Steve Martin of Rowlett, TX; four grandchildren, Mariah Jaye England, Ava Rose Baumhardt, Kenneth Dale Huffstetler III and Brock Walter Baumhardt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Calvary Church, 1730 W. Jefferson St., Springfield, IL. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Calvary Church with Pastor Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
