Florence Ann Ensley, 65, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at St. John’s Hospital.
Florence was born on August 20, 1953 in Decatur the daughter of Merrill Dean and Elizabeth Melinda Bilyeu Cullison.
She worked for Sangamon County Community Resources for 25 years and in 2006 she went on to work for the Secretary of State Police where she was currently working. She was a former member of Riverton Eagles Club, she was active in Dale Teubner Baseball League and was an avid Bingo player and Chicago Cub’s and Bear’s fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and fiancé, Robert A. Lewis, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Wayne Dean (Amanda) Ensley of Raymond, Robert A. (Julie) Lewis III of Springfield, Joel H. Lewis of Springfield, Misty L. Lewis of Galesburg, Danielle N. Lewis of Springfield and William Joseph (Pam) Lewis of IN; siblings, Cheryl J. Cullison of Springfield, Carol Jean Jacobs and Alice Marie (Mark) Chaney both of Galesburg and Merrill Cullison of CA; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation will be accorded. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Adams-Gordon Cemetery in Moweaqua.
