James Wallace Obituary

James W. Wallace, 90, of Lincoln, formerly of Sherman, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at The Christian Village in Lincoln.

James was born on October 15, 1927 in Greensburg, KY the son of Ellis and Lilia Curry Wallace.  He married Lois Winifred Zepp on June 19, 1949; she preceded him in death June 6, 2010.

James was a union meat cutter working for Constintino Packing Company retiring in 1987 after 30 years of service.  He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the Elks Club.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by three children, Linda (Wayne) Johnson of Latham, Russell (Gayle) Wallace of Mahomet and Lou (Steve) Bosie of Sherman; four grandchildren, Shelby Bosie, Samantha (William) Schurr, Jacob Wallace and Madison Wallace; and one great-grandson, William Russell Schurr.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home with Tom Seggelke officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
