Julie “JULES" Michelle Quinlan, age 51 of Springfield Illinois, passed away April 14, 2019 peacefully at St. John's Hospital in Springfield Illinois.
Jules is the daughter of Shirley Quinlan and Charles Barker (deceased). She worked in health care for over 10 years. She enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, as well as an avid reader of Danielle Steel books. Jules’ chili will be missed on Halloween as well as her chicken and noodles. She loved her fiancé, children, and grandchildren very much.
Jules is preceded in death by her dad Charles Barker, Stepdad Gene Daily, and Grandma Bessie Everman.
She is survived by sons, Aaron Baker, Gordon (Casey) Painter II; her daughter, Alyssa Painter of Athens; and son TJ Painter of Springfield; fiancé, Billy Fields; mother Shirley Quinlan of Mt. Zion; brother, Mark (Melinda) Quinlan Jr. of Macomb; sister, Lisa (Gary) Hopkins of Decatur; sister, Debbie (Jim) Manuele of Edmond, OK; stepsister Tracie (Joey) Davis of Walker, LA; stepbrothers, Stephen (Shelley) Daily of Latham; Michael (Keri) Daily of Decatur; stepmom, Donna (Steve) Brachear of Girard; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephew's.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday May 4, 2019 from 12pm-1pm with service immediately following at Abraham Lincoln Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 745 Woodside Rd. Springfield, Illinois 62711
