Obituary

Margaret Jane Potter, 67, of Springfield, IL passed away on Saturday September 9, 2023. Maggie was born in Springfield on April 8, 1956 and was the daughter of Richard Johnson and Alice Bisby.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her brother, George W. Johnson.

Maggie is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Tuttle of Springfield; grandsons, Leland and Dominic Tuttle of Springfield; sister, Kathy (husband, Rob) Smith of Springfield; brothers, Richard and Frank Johnson of Springfield; close friend, Val at Memorial Medical Center; and several, Nieces and Nephews.

Maggie always had a very close relationship with her daughter, Jennifer. She also loved to play the lottery and gamble. Maggie was generous with both of her time and her love. She would often spoil her grandkids.

Visitation will be held on Monday September 18, 2023 at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 N. 5th St. Springfield, IL 62702 from 2:00pm till 4:00pm.

Cremation services will be accorded after the visitation.
