I was making daily visit to the Hope Thrift store part of my weekly routine and asked about Jackie. I had not seen her in a while. We were not close personal friends however I spoke to her every time I saw her at the store regardless if I was purchasing something. She was always so nice to me. I have to admit even though I did not know her well I shed a tear after I left. I just wanted to let family and friends know that she had touched my heart. I was ashamed that I had to ask her name while at the store. I always thought of her as the thrift store lady. I will keep family and friends in my prayers. May the spirit of the Lord comfort you all during this difficult time. I hope I see her in Heaven so I can tell her how much I enjoyed talking with her. - Bobby Goldesberry Virden, Illinois

We are saddened by the passing of Jackie from this live to her heavenly home; however, at the same time we are rejoicing in knowing that she is now pain free and in the presence of her Saviour. We are lifting all of you up in our prayers and thoughts that God will comfort you in this time of great sorrow.

My heart goes out to all of Jackie's family. I graduated high school with Jackie and we were friends during our 4 years at Lanphier. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jackie has fought the good fight and finished her race successfully. We certainly cannot be sad for her as she is experiencing that which she lived for. Our hearts and prayers go out to Jim, Nick, Aubrey, Ashley and Aleigh and their families. Not only will a great void be left in their life, but also in the church family and ministries of Calvary Church.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Jackie for as long as I can remember. I am heartbroken hearing of her family's loss. I have been praying for her and her entire family since she found out about the cancer. She was such a fighter but in the end, God had a bigger plan for her. My prayers for the family will continue knowing that Jesus is enveloping you all in his arms. I am sad that I am unable to say goodbye to my friend this weekend, the negatives of living in Chicago. I am blessed to have known her and she will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched. love and prayers for you all.
